Description
The Northgate started as a sample sewn on a kitchen table in 2021 and we never quite managed to improve on it. The shell is twelve ounce waxed canvas from a mill in Dundee, the lining is undyed cotton, and the zips are YKK because cheap zips ruin good bags.
It takes a fifteen inch laptop in its own padded sleeve, a lunch, a jumper and a book without turning into a sausage. The back panel sits against you, not against whatever is inside, and the top rolls shut when you have packed light.
Two years in, most customers tell us theirs looks better than the day it arrived. We think that is the whole point of waxed cotton.
