Description
We tested this jacket through a very wet February in Bristol and a disappointing summer in the Lake District. The cotton is waxed at eleven ounces, which makes it stiff for the first week and then completely yours.
Seams are taped, the hood has a proper brim, and the two front pockets sit high so they stay clear of a backpack belt. There is a two way zip, so you can open it from the bottom when you sit down.
It is not a technical mountaineering shell. It is a jacket for walking to work in honest weather and arriving looking deliberate.
